One platform, one object, priced on a defensible ladder, sold classy and institutional at premiere dollars. This document describes the platform as it runs right now at app.northpointbook.com.
NORTHPOINT is live. It produces subpoena-grade signals on pots of seized crypto, forges them into sellable case files, and sells them on a scientifically defensible price ladder.
What is true of it, in Mike's words, now in production:
Shaping decisions NP-1 through NP-7 are all locked and built; they are no longer open items and are folded into the sections below.
What the SEEKER buys is a POSITION. AVID stays as the tag (card header: POSITION · AVID-0015), never the product name. Wiki fence line, verbatim: a Position is a documented claim posture, not a financial instrument. Presented as a large card: headline grade + band, documented loss, factor breakdown, completeness, alerts. 21 are published today.
Positions are never ranked Gold, Silver, or Bronze. Status is CANDIDATE, the grade stands alone: scientific, agnostic, unbiased. No rank language anywhere on the platform.
The price formula, published in the wiki: price = k × expected attorney fee = k × documented loss × P(unmask) × P(claim allowed) × payout ratio × fee%. k ≈ 10%. The v1 bands ($500 / $1.5k / $5k / $15k / $50k by loss band) fall out of this formula and remain the operating ladder until the model recalibrates on real outcomes. Flat at export, never contingent.
| Space | What runs there today | Who sees it |
|---|---|---|
| DASHBOARD | Registry and pot-level view: every pot on register, posture, coverage, TRACED %. Column-reader exploration. | All roles |
| VAULT | The shelf of published Positions only: 21 graded cards, filter rail, exports. Vault law: only CANDIDATE and VICTIM statuses shelve; walk evidence (noise, endpoints, services, consolidation) renders as CORE RECORD, never priced, never tagged. This is where money changes hands. | SEEKER + Kinetic |
| WALLET CHECK | Live register lookup: "do any of my case wallets touch a pot?" Metered against the ledger. A revenue line and a lead magnet for the network. | SEEKER |
| TRACING DESK | Trace jobs queue, section 03. Live kanban. | SEEKER + TRACER |
| CORE | The forge, never visible to a buyer. RUN LIST: every walk is a queued RUN card, dry-run preview → Mike hits ACTIVATE → live status → full logs kept forever → post-run yield readout. ENGINE SOURCES: registry of every data source and connector with status, cost class, what it feeds, and on-platform key control. ASSAY: the review floor; every run mints CANDIDATES, never Positions; verdicts PUBLISH · HOLD · RE-RUN · SCRAP; the publish event is the mint (timestamps the Position, fixes its card price, feeds WATCH); $1M+ candidates always eyes-on. | Kinetic only |
| ADMIN | Member register, invites, roles, instance control. Includes the admin-only VAULT BOOK VALUE readout: shelf value per pot and total at the listed ladder. | Kinetic only |
| ACCOUNT | Live ledger of every export, check, trace job, and debit. Visibility, not negotiation. | Per role |
| WIKI | Public, no session required. Six sections: Method · Walk rules · Review floor · Pricing defensibility · Rate card · The Position. What makes premiere $ defensible in front of an institutional buyer. | Public |
Roles: SEEKER (Dan or any buyer, the payer) · TRACER (a CipherBlade person) · KINETIC (ops and admin). A simple client relationship, on the record.
A SEEKER requests a trace on a file or wallet; it becomes a JOB on a kanban queue fulfilled exclusively by CipherBlade. The job card carries full detail plus exactly one back-and-forth updates/comments section.
| Element | Shape (seed set, refined with CipherBlade) |
|---|---|
| 5 trace types | SCREEN (light) · PATH (medium) · FULL (heavy) · CERTIFIED (examiner-signed, the crypto.trace lane) · RUSH (priority multiplier) |
| 5 job stages | REQUESTED → SCOPED → IN TRACE → REVIEW → DELIVERED |
| Job card | Scope, wallets, pot context, type, price, timeline, deliverable format, evidence attachments, single comments thread SEEKER ↔ TRACER. |
| Economics | Priced per type: CipherBlade fulfillment rate + Kinetic margin. Rate card set with CB, debited from the SEEKER's credit balance like everything else. |
Kinetic never unmasks. We stop at the highest-scored anonymous file; identity comes into existence attorney-side via legal process. The export is the bright line between product and practice of law. This keeps the file a clean commodity and Kinetic out of data-broker and investigator licensing.
The library is jurisdiction-agnostic · the buyer is forum-specific (remission = federal administrative, any US attorney; judicial = the seizure court's district) · unmasking is VASP-specific · contact is victim-specific. Foreign victims are eligible in DOJ remission (Western Union and BitConnect paid worldwide). Foreign pots: walk, grade, shelve as export inventory for forum-local counsel.
All assets always · official seeds only · inbound first, outbound is a separate rail · every sender kept · value per asset at transaction time, never aggregate unlike assets · an address is not a person · gross flow is not documented loss · full evidence stamp on every record · one library with asset filters · dry-run ceiling + Mike's ACTIVATE per run.
Default = open shelf at ladder prices. Exclusivity = per-pot, time-boxed window protecting the buyer's subpoena spend. Never blanket, never perpetual.
Browse and shortlist free → optional reserve hold, credited on export → EXPORT debits prepaid credits at ladder price. Never pay-on-attribution or pay-on-signing; contingent pricing is fee-split exposure. Urgency changes pick order, never price.
OWN what compounds: walks, vault, grading, scoring, ladder + outcome loop, the export/billing rail, the claim-check surface. ENABLE what differentiates: attribution workbench, retention plumbing. DROP what scales linearly: intake call centers, matter management (push to Litify/Filevine, never build), the legal work itself.
No founding pricing, no discounts, ever: discounts read desperate and cheap. The rate card is the rate card. Urgency comes from scarcity (one firm holds the POT-002 window; when it's taken, it's taken) and from repricing upward: the vault is being filled fast, and the card reprices on coverage milestones (card v2 when multiple pots run deep, v3 at world registry). Buying early buys first pick at today's card, never a lower price. Credit blocks are the only purchase unit.
Three rungs, all time-boxed, never perpetual: RESERVE (hold) → LOCK (solo Position) → WINDOW (pot-wide). Use-it-or-lose-it law: locks and windows never renew at the same price; expired exclusivity re-shelves at the then-current card, so nobody squats on inventory to bury it. Every number below is a v1 default; each ships as an admin-settable pricing object in ADMIN (panel is next on the bench, number lock is a round-2 exercise).

Dan is SEEKER one, proof case one, reference story one, at posted prices. His co-counsel economics stay lawyer-to-lawyer; the platform never touches a percentage of fees or recovery.
A percentage of recovery or legal fees on any Kinetic surface. Vouching for counsel. Implying or predicting recovery. Selling leads. Selling the Vault itself. Unmasking anyone.
Working an ADVERSARIAL pot. Synthetic data in production. Merging tranches. Owning partner data. Cost figures inside the product. Rank language on Positions.
Counsel signs every filing. Gross flow is never victim loss. An address is not a person; identity comes only from an authorized return. Every figure earned, sourced, and pressable. Plain english, no doctrine in labels.
